Just as cool as can be!

Ok, seriously....how cool are these kids?!  They have been cracking me up withe their sunglasses obsession as of late :)  Gabe insists on wearing Nick's aviators and he thinks he is the coolest thing since sliced bread :)  

No sunglasses for the littlest miss, but I didn't want her to be left out :)

A child like faith...

This morning I was sitting at the table eating my yogurt and drinking my coffee, when Gabe came into the room carrying a little New Testament that him and Hannah play with sometimes.  He was holding it open and  pretending to read from it and he said, "Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and Grandpa Ed went to heaven."  Such a simple yet profound thought.  I am so thankful today for my children and how God uses them in unexpected ways to remind me of his love and the hope that we have in him.

Big girl bike!

Earlier this spring Nick accidentally ran over one of Hannah's training wheels with the van, which did not end well for the training wheel.  So for the past few days we have been working on learning to ride her bike without the training wheels.  She was pretty scared at first but is getting braver and more confident each time we practice and I think she will have it down before too long :)  This first picture cracks me up!  Nick was demonstrating how to balance while riding a bike, lol :)

Baseball!!

Much to his daddy's delight, a certain little boy has discovered a love for baseball :)  He wants to play catch and hit the ball ALL THE TIME :)  I love watching Nick and Gabe playing  ball in the yard...making precious memories as the days and weeks fly by much to quickly.

These little monkeys were hard at work :)  They decided to set up a store on the front porch and sell their own handmade wares.

 Since we live on a really quiet street business wasn't exactly booming...

But they had fun, and that is what is most important anyhow :)

Baby Dedication

Baby dedication for Leah was this Sunday, May 13th.  At our church we have a dedication in which we as parents and our church family promise to do our best to raise our child to know Jesus.  It is a special time for our family and we are happy to be able to have done it with all of our kids.
