Cookies!!

Hannah's buddies Paige and Mia came over last week and helped to make Christmas cookies. It was a ton of fun. Here are some pictures of the girls and the festivities.

Happy Hollingsworth Thanksgiving!!

We spent the day yesterday at my parents house for the Hollingsworth side of the family Thanksgiving. We had a great time eating lots and lots of yummy food (thank you Grandma Hollingsworth :)) and just relaxing. Here are some pictures of the day. :)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope that everyone had a wonderful day. We spent the day with the Hershberger side of our family, and it was a great day. We had the traditional thanksgiving meal for lunch (Hannah filled up on mashed potatoes and applesauce), and then lots more snacks and munchies throughout the day. I don't know why it is, but no matter how good my intentions are, I always end up eating more that I should on days like today. Oh well, I will just have to exercise a little bit extra tomorrow to make up for it. After lunch, the men went outside to shoot trap and the women stayed inside to play games. I think that it is traditional on Thanksgiving to talk about what we are thankful for, so here is my list: JESUS ( I know that is probably at least a little bit cliche, but it is so very true), my husband who loves me no matter what, my precious daughter who is every day a testament to Gods love, grace, and miraculous power, my extended family, my parents, and my church. I love you all very much!

Hello all. I am sorry it has been so long since I have posted. We have been really busy, but that isn't a good excuse for not posting at least once a week. I think that with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, things are just going to keep getting busier, but I promise to do a better job of posting. Well this past week had two birthdays in our family. Grandpa Ed turned 60, and auntie Krissy turned 23. We had parties/meals for both of them yesterday, so that was a really fun day. And saturday Hannah and I spent the day shopping in Cleveland with the girls. It was a really fun day, and to top it off we went out to dinner at Cheesecake Factory, I had never been there before, and it was fantastic. I got key lime cheesecake, and it was excellent. I also got a ton of christmas shopping done, which was great :) Enjoy the pictures, Hannah has been into crawling into small space lately. Hannah is 14 months old today! I can't believe how fast the past year and a bit has gone. She is such a blessing! A quick update on the fun new things that Hannah is doing. So far she says mommy, daddy, hi, hey, and E I E I O (from the "Old McDonald" song). She isn't walking on her own yet, but she does walk just holding onto one hand. She still only has four teeth, but I really thing that there are two more almost in. I am sure that there are a lot of other things that I am forgetting, but most importantly she is a happy and healthy baby :) Have a great weekend everyone!

A Day In the Park

Heidi and I took Hannah and Ryan to the park on Tuesday. It was a beautiful day and I think the kids had a good time being outside. I had a great time spending the afternoon with a good friend! Here are some pictures from the park and some other silly ones of Hannah from this week :)

Today was a pretty exciting day in the Hershberger household. Hannah did two new and very exciting things today. 1. She took her first step!!! (She only did it once, and we couldn't get her to do it again, but she definitely took one step all on her own.) and 2. She made the "ducky" noise. :) We have been working on animal sounds, and she thinks it really funny when I make them, but she has never repeated them before. It was so cute, and I really wanted to tape it so that I could post it on the blog, but of course the battery was dead:( Hopefully I will get it taped here in the near future, so you can all enjoy the cuteness:)

Well, we had an exciting weekend this past week. We spent Thursday - Sunday with my sister in PA. We had a really great time visiting and hanging out with Auntie Stephie. We really wish that her and Uncle Lance lived closer so that we could see them more often, but we are really lucky to get to see them as often as we do. I have posted some pictures of us on our trip. I also posted one of Hannah with Paige and Mia, the two little girls I babysit on Mondays. Hannah loves her buddies, and she gets really excited when we go to their house every Monday!!!

I also wanted to wish my cousin Krista A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Today is her birthday!!

Finally, I wanted to ask for prayer for Bryson again. He will be having another surgery before he can be fitted for his prosthesis, so keep him and his family in your prayers as they go through yet another hospital stay. Thanks...I know that they really appreciate everyones prayers.

Ok, so this is the final thing that I am going to post...I promise :) On the 31st of October (Halloween) our church is going to have a thing called Trick or Trunk. What it will be is about forty families from the church will be lined up with their cars in the church parking lot with candy in their trunks. Kids can come and go trick or treating in a safe place, and get tons of candy!! I made a trip to Walmart today, so I can personally vouch for there being Kit Kats, Reeces PB cups, Butterfingers, and Smarties. :) We are also going to have a meal at church before the trick or treating, so if you want to come, the meal is free, and you won't have to cook that night. If anyone is interested leave me a comment, and I will get you all the information about times etc.

A Fun Week

It is fianlly getting cold in Ohio. :)

We had a really busy, but really fun week. Aside from Tuesday, I was either working or babysitting every day this week:) I am definitely looking forward to next week when we are on fall break from Malone. So Hannah and I are heading out to PA to spend the weekend with my sister, Stephanie. We are really looking forward to our mini-vacation:) Here are some fun pictures of Hannah and Ryan playing, and of Hannah all bundled up for our walk.

13 Months!!

Wow, Hannah is thirteen months old today. She is growing up so fast, and doing new things everyday. She thinks it is soo funny to "run away" when mommy puts her down somewhere, and when I chase after her, she cracks up laughing. Silly girl. :) My mom birthday was on Sunday, and to keep Hannah entertained while my sister and I were working in the kitchen, we let her play in the sink. Here are some pictures, and some video of her playing.
